ICU Medical Inc.: The San Clemente medical products maker said its profit for the second quarter rose 41% to $783,000, or 11 cents a share, from $556,000, or 8 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales increased 65% to $3.8 million from $2.3 million. Year-to-date profit totaled $1.9 million, or 25 cents a share, up 12% from $1.7 million, or 23 cents a share, reported a year earlier. The figure for 1993’s first half included a $295,000 gain from an accounting change. Sales for the latest six months increased 54% to $8 million from $5.2 million for the same period a year earlier.
