OXNARD : Recycling Site Opens for Hazardous Waste
- Share via
Oxnard residents will once again be able to recycle used motor oil, latex paint, and other types of hazardous household waste under a new collection program starting today.
Since the Bailard Landfill Recyclable Household Hazardous Waste Station closed in January, Oxnard residents have had no way to safely dispose of such household wastes.
The Ventura Regional Sanitation District will operate a recycling station at the landfill, 4105 Gonzales Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second Thursday and Saturday of each month.
