Coke Names New President: M. Douglas Ivester was also named chief operating officer and director of the world’s largest soft drink company, putting him in line to succeed Chairman and Chief Executive Roberto Goizueta. Ivester, who was principal operating officer for Coca-Cola Co.’s North America operations, succeeds Donald Keough, who retired in April, 1993. Ivester also held the title of executive vice president. Coke also said Jack Stahl, senior vice president and chief financial officer, has been appointed president of Coca-Cola USA.
