New police vehicles and equipment have been delivered to the Harbor Division of the LAPD under the first phase of “Project Safety L.A.”
The division has received 22 new cars--half its fleet--with a promise that the rest of the fleet will be replaced in next year’s city budget, said Councilman Rudy Svorinich Jr., who represents the harbor area.
