A masked gunman robbed the Thousand Oaks Inn early Monday morning and fled on foot, according to sheriff’s deputies.
At about 1:20 a.m., a man entered the hotel, displayed a gun and demanded money, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said. After receiving the money, he left the hotel on West Thousands Oaks Boulevard without harming anyone.
Sheriff’s deputies say they have no suspect in the case and do not know whether this crime is related to other recent robberies in the area. Ventura County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
