The city is seeking applicants for two positions on the Traffic Commission.
William Bivens and Joseph Greco recently notified the city that they must resign from the commission.
Bivens, a commissioner for more than a year, said he is resigning because his job now requires more travel.
Greco, on the commission since January, resigned because he has moved to Laguna Niguel.
The commission makes recommendations to the City Council regarding improvement of traffic conditions, enforcement of traffic regulations and parking.
It meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 25201 Paseo de Alicia.
The two terms to be filled will expire in January, 1997. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Sept. 8.
