SBA Gets $470 Million for Disaster Loan Program

WASHINGTON — President Clinton on Friday released $470 million in new funds to replenish the Small Business Administration’s disaster loan program, depleted by a string of natural disasters.
The money will keep the program going until the current fiscal year ends Sept. 30. The emergency funds come from two recently passed spending bills.
