Canon Introduces Color Printer; Watson Makes Oil Deal

COSTA MESA — Canon Computer Systems Inc. said Tuesday it has introduced a color printer for personal computers that will sell for about $500.
The printer uses tiny jets of yellow, blue, magenta and black ink to make images on standard copier paper, film and sheets of other material.
Canon officials said they hope the new product will help them increase their share of the printer market, now led by Hewlett-Packard Co.
