A ‘Whacko’ Society Legalizes Violence

* I can understand your disturbance over the “whackos” who killed two abortion providers and a guard (“An Anxious Time for Family Planning,” Aug. 25).
What I consider incommensurately more “whacko” however, is a society that legalizes the murder by dismemberment and poisoning of its most innocent children--the unborn--by the millions, and then has the gall to complain of a rise in violence.
