A newly formed amateur company will stage plays at the New Community Center, 2025 Alton Parkway, Irvine. Ryan Kray, who is heading the troupe, says the first production will be “Steel Magnolias.” Performances will begin Oct. 14 and will continue on Fridays and Saturdays in an open-ended run.
