PLACENTIA : Photo Preservation Classes Scheduled

The city will offer three photo preservation workshops to teach family historians how to maintain keepsake photographs.
Workshop leaders will demonstrate how to crop and mount photos as well as ways to creatively decorate albums. The workshops will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Sept. 29 and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 25. All classes will be held in Room 7 of the Backs Community Building, 201 N. Bradford Ave.
The fee for each workshop is $10, and participants are asked to bring six to 10 photos for use in a cropping exercise. Advance reservations are required. For more information or reservations, call (714) 993-6084 or (714) 524-9012.
