Procter & Gamble Sues Over Packaging: The company said it filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Toledo to stop a Michigan company from selling private-label products in packages that resemble Procter & Gamble products. The suit alleges that products sold by F&M; Distributors Inc. of Warren, Mich., at its 120 drugstores infringe on package designs of five Procter & Gamble brands. The packages look like Procter & Gamble’s Pantene Pro-V and Head & Shoulders shampoos, Secret and Sure antiperspirants, and Noxzema cleansing cream, according to the suit. A call to F&M; President Dale Ward was not immediately returned.
