Latham & Watkins Chooses New Managing Partner: Robert Dell, a 41-year-old attorney in the law firm’s San Francisco office, will begin a five-year term in January. Dell joined the firm in 1982 in Chicago and founded its San Francisco office in 1990. He will manage the 550-attorney firm from San Francisco, becoming the firm’s first managing partner outside its Los Angeles headquarters. Dell succeeds John F. Walker Jr.
