‘Hatful of Rain’ Soars

I was truly thrilled by the production of “A Hatful of Rain” at the Ensemble Theatre in Orange.

What a wonderful surprise to find that we have such a great little theater in this area and one that definitely should be better noticed by our theater-hungry public. The actor who played Johnny the eldest son (David Boreanaz) was so convincing that I totally forgot that we were only about 10 people in the audience. This was truly a shame, since all the actors were wonderful in their delivery of this very physical play.

Also notable were the marvelous actors who portrayed the younger brother, wife and father. Even the actors who played the crooks who hook Johnny were very convincing.
