Wilson 20, Monroe 19--Wilson stopped Quincy Brooks on a two-point conversion attempt in the final minute of the game to thwart the Vikings at Wilson.
Trailing 20-13 in the fourth quarter, Monroe launched a 67-yard drive in 10 plays, capped by a 20-yard scoring pass from Brooks to tight end Tryone Frost. Brooks was stuffed by Wilson at the one-yard line on the two-point attempt.
Monroe (0-2) failed to move the ball in the first half and trailed, 14-0. However, two interceptions in the second half set up scoring runs by Brooks, who started the game as a running back but finished as quarterback.
Eddie Gonzalez of Wilson (2-0) threw three touchdown passes but also threw three interceptions.
