BRIEFLY : AIDS: TV Actors to Appear at Fund-Raising Event

Tuesday’s Child, a nonprofit agency for children infected with HIV, is observing its fifth anniversary with a series of awareness and fund-raising events beginning Saturday.
On Saturday, “Spinning with the Soap Opera Stars” will include a stationary-bicycle training session and a reception with actors from various shows.
The organization’s anniversary kickoff coincides with National AIDS Awareness Week, Oct. 2-8; the celebration continues through Dec. 15.
Tuesday’s Child provides a range of services to benefit HIV-positive children, including meals, outings, rental assistance for low-income families and help with funeral costs.
