SANTA ANA : School Library to Bear Late Volunteer’s Name
- Share via
The Santa Ana Unified School District will dedicate the Santa Ana High School Library in honor of Patricia Ann Pleshe, a longtime school volunteer who died earlier this year.
A ceremony today will recognize Pleshe’s 27 years of service to students and the community, said district spokeswoman Diane Thomas.
Pleshe, who died in March at age 66 after battling lung cancer, served the district in numerous jobs for 19 years. She was active in PTAs, served as room mother and volunteered at Santiago Elementary School, Willard Intermediate School and Santa Ana High School while her children attended those campuses.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and the public is welcome, Thomas said. The school is at 520 W. Walnut St.
