Applications are being accepted for a basic citizenship skills examination on Nov. 16.
The test, offered by the Capistrano Adult School, can be taken in lieu of being tested in person by an officer from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Those who pass the test at the adult school still must have an interview with immigration officials.
The test fee is $22 for those who register before Friday. After that date, the cost will be $26.
The Capistrano Adult School is at 31422 Camino Capistrano. For more information, call (714) 493-0658.
