United Paramount Network Names Entertainment Chief: Michael Sullivan, a former ABC executive, will be president of entertainment for the television network that is to be launched in January. Sullivan will direct all areas of entertainment programming. As an independent producer, he developed the sitcom “Growing Pains” in conjunction with Warner Bros. Television. United Paramount is owned by Viacom Inc.’s Paramount Television and a subsidiary of Chris-Craft Industries.
