ORANGE : Forum Is Tonight on Unscrambled Movies
- Share via
Officials from Cablevision of Orange and the city manager’s office will hold an open forum tonight to hear complaints from residents who have received unscrambled adult movies on their television sets.
Assistant City Manager Jim Evans and Cablevision General Manager Kristy Casasanta will be available to discuss solutions to the unwanted feeds at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Civic Plaza at 300 E. Chapman Ave.
Casasanta said the unscrambling of the visual portion of movies from Playboy and Hot Choice channels has been resolved but that the unscrambled audio feeds are an industrywide problem. The cable company can trap the feeds on an individual basis.
