GARDEN GROVE : Suspected Freeway Flasher Arrested
- Share via
The California Highway Patrol arrested a man suspected of being a freeway flasher at his workplace Friday in Garden Grove.
Robert Scott Murg, 35, of Temecula was booked by the CHP on suspicion of indecent exposure after he reportedly pulled alongside a female driver on the Artesia Freeway and exposed himself. The woman said the same man had exposed himself on the same freeway 10 to 12 times since August.
CHP Sgt. Paul Golonski said that a driver, one whose front license plate had been removed, always exposed himself during afternoon commuter hours on the Artesia Freeway or the Corona Freeway in San Diego.
Murg, a carpenter, has a 1993 conviction for indecent exposure and two prior arrests on similar charges, Golonski said.
CHP investigator Mike Pimento has asked that anyone with additional information call him at (714) 547-8311.
