IRVINE — Trustees of the Irvine Unified School District recently awarded a $350,000 contract to PJHM, a San Clemente architectural firm, to design the proposed Northwood Point Elementary School.
The firm also designed Meadow Park Elementary School and the new South Lake Middle School.
The Northwood Point school was originally expected to open in the fall of 1997, but opening may be delayed for a year so that its development coincides with that of the adjacent Northwood Point community.
