TNT is presenting a blast to the ‘70s past on New Year’s Day with a Charlie’s Angels marathon (Sunday from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and a CHiPS marathon (3 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday).

Leslie Nielsen guests on Columbo (Monday at 11 a.m. on A&E;) in a thriller about a quarrel between a brother and sister that ends in murder.

Repeats of the long-running Carroll O’Connor detective series In the Heat of the Night join the TNT lineup Monday with a “Heat Fest Marathon.” The festival kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with the original Oscar-winning 1967 film, followed by the pilot episode of the series at 4 p.m. The marathon continues with a two-hour episode of the series at 6 p.m. and the 1971 film “The Organization,” a sequel to “In the Heat of the Night,” at 8 p.m. (The series will then air Mondays-Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7 a.m.)

Beginning Tuesday, TNT is adding to its afternoon lineup the funky ‘70s cop series Starsky and Hutch (weekdays at 3 p.m.), which starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser.

Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire and a host of stars from vintage TV Westerns headline the 1991 miniseries Kenny Rogers in The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw (Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. on TBS).

Annette Funicello stars in Annette (Saturdays at 3 p.m. on the Disney Channel), a serialized drama about a teen-age girl that originally aired on “The micky Mouse Club.”
