ENGLAND SWINGS: If you thought Frank Sinatra and Bono were an odd coupling on Sinatra’s “Duets,” wait until you hear dark rocker Nick Cave’s pairing with Kylie Minogue, the frothy popster and former Aussie teen soap heroine. Cave, who has frequently expressed admiration for the fellow Melbourne native, tabbed Minogue to sing on “Wild Rose,” a song from his next album: a collection of ballads all with the not-so-frothy theme of murder. The incongruous partnership went so well that Cave is reportedly contributing compositions for a new Minogue album.
