Chino 58, Irvine 36--Shawnee Stevens scored 12 points and Melinda Newe added 10 for visiting Irvine (21-4). The Vaqueros trailed, 19-18, at halftime, but were outscored, 21-3, in the third quarter.
Mater Dei 57, Thousand Oaks 37--Melody Peterson scored 15 points and Rhonda Gondringer added 13 for host Mater Dei (22-1), which led, 25-6, after the first quarter. Peterson also had 12 rebounds and seven steals. Michelle Meyers added 11 points and seven rebounds.
