County Sports Hall of Fame Inducts 5

Five area sports figures have been inducted into the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame.
They will be honored at the Hall of Fame’s 13th annual induction ceremony and banquet June 17 at the Doubletree Hotel in Ventura. The county’s top male and female athletes for 1994-95 will also be named during the banquet.
The inductees are: Ventura College basketball Coach Phil Mathews, Royal High School volleyball Coach Bob Ferguson, Santa Paula High School soccer Coach Joseph Magdaleno, retired Oxnard High School football Coach Jack Davis and drag boat racer Jacque Cunningham.
