THOUSAND OAKS : Farmers’ Market to Move to Mall Lot
- Share via
Strawberries, asparagus, lettuce and oranges are among the bountiful spring crops of vegetables and fruit sold at farmers’ markets across the county this season. But be warned: The market in Thousand Oaks is moving.
Due to upcoming renovations at the present Village Square Center site, the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Assn. will relocate the market to the east parking lot by The Oaks mall starting April 27.
The east parking lot is on West Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Wilbur and Marin streets, across from Nurseryland and south of Bank of America.
Market hours will begin an hour earlier at 4 p.m. each Thursday and run to 7:30 p.m.
The new hours will be in place until November.
