Largest Mortgage Broker: Integrity Mortgage of Costa Mesa and RPM Mortgage of Laguna Niguel have merged to become the largest mortgage broker in Orange County. Integrity is the third-largest brokerage in the county and RPM is the sixth-largest.
The merged entity, called RPM Mortgage, will have more than 50 loan officers. The companies had combined loan closings totaling $230 million last year. The companies specialize in residential home loans and construction loans.
“This is a trend in the industry,” said Rick Brown, an RPM company spokesman. “The bigger you are the better you’ll survive.”
