‘West Side’ Teams MacLaine, Minnelli

Academy Award winners Shirley MacLaine (“Terms of Endearment”) and Liza Minnelli (“Cabaret”) are teamed in a TV movie for CBS, “The West Side Waltz.”
Based on a play by Ernest Thompson, the film explores the relationship between two women living in the same New York apartment building, and how it changes when one of them opts for a roommate (played by Jennifer Grey).
CBS has not yet set an air date.
