Weekend TV : ‘Barbra,’ ‘Liz’ in Head-to-Head Competition

It’s Barbra vs. Liz on Sunday night.

“Barbra: The Concert,” on CBS at 8:30 p.m., is an expanded version of the Streisand show that originally ran on HBO in August. The extra footage gives CBS a chance to grab viewers before NBC comes on at 9 with “Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story,” a two-part TV movie with Sherilyn Fenn in the title role. The film, which concludes at 9 p.m. Monday, was not made available for review.
