Professional cycling teams will share the streets of Chinatown today with youth cyclists, kung fu masters and rollerbladers in the Universal Studios Hollywood Cycling Challenge IV.
The Los Angeles Wings will compete against the San Francisco Shakers and Houston Outlaws, all members of the National Cycling League, in the event’s featured attraction.
Festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. with a public race, followed by amateur intermediate competition, college-level races and more age-group competition among youths and teen-agers.
Kung fu and rollerblading demonstrations will take place at intermissions during the pro races.
