WEST ADAMS/ UNIVERSITY PARK : CRA Advisory Panel Has 10 Spots Open

Ten positions are up for election Thursday for the advisory council of the Community Redevelopment Agency’s Hoover Redevelopment Expansion Area southwest of Downtown Los Angeles.
Community members who live, work or own property in the area bounded by Adams Boulevard, 41st Street, the Harbor Freeway and Wisconsin Place are eligible.
The council provides public input on the CRA’s plans to revitalize the project area. Those plans include blight elimination, commercial development and affordable housing construction.
The election is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the project site office, 2823 S. Vermont Ave.
