When it comes to being a landlord, Caltrans has come under fire from Pasadena and South Pasadena. Now add the city of La Verne.
The City Council is calling for new management for state-owned houses--including about 30 homes on the proposed California 30, which extends east to San Bernardino from the Foothill (210) Freeway’s terminus in La Verne. The council passed a resolution Monday urging state lawmakers to create a nonprofit corporation to care for state-owned homes along proposed freeway routes.
