Mike Moore, whose 15 losses are the most in the majors, was waived by the Detroit Tigers. Moore (5-15) had lost 10 consecutive decisions and was winless in 12 starts since June 24. His 7.53 ERA is among the worst in major league history for pitchers who have worked at least 100 innings in a season.
