Chris McCarron has appealed the five-day suspension handed down by stewards Sunday, enabling him to ride the remainder of the Del Mar meeting, which ends next Wednesday.
Two behind Corey Nakatani in the jockey standings, McCarron has two mounts today--Rosebud in the third race and Thrills Of Frills in the sixth.

For the second time in two months, trainer Brian Mayberry has lost a major client.
Longtime owners Jan, Mace and Samantha Siegel left Mayberry in July, and now, owners Ann and Jerry Moss, who had 1994 Kentucky Oaks winner Sardula with Mayberry, have changed trainers.
The Mosses, who had nine horses with Mayberry, will reportedly disperse them among Bobby Frankel, Richard Mandella, Ron McAnally and John Sadler.
