Riverside County Has Most Popular Projects

With 15 best-selling housing projects, Riverside County dominated the Top 50 list of new projects compiled by the Meyers Group, an Irvine-based real estate consulting firm, for the second quarter of 1995.

Orange County had 14 best-selling projects; San Diego had nine, San Bernardino, six, and Los Angeles and Ventura counties each had three projects.

The best-selling project in Southern California was Del Webb’s Sun City Palm Springs, with 83 sales in the quarter. It has led the Top 50 for several quarters.

Kaufman & Broad Home Corp., the state’s largest home builder, had five projects on the list. Van Daele Development and Ryland Homes each had three bestsellers among the Top 50.
