Gretzky Has Goal, Assist as Kings Win in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Wayne Gretzky had a goal and an assist in his first exhibition game Saturday night as the Kings rallied from a 3-0 first-period deficit with six goals in a row to beat the New York Rangers, 6-4.
Yanic Perreault also had a goal and an assist for the Kings. His goal at 1:42 of the third period snapped a 3-3 tie and put Los Angeles ahead for good in the game, played before a crowd of 8,070 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Rangers took their 3-0 lead on first-period goals by Alexei Kovalev, Niklas Sundstrom and Nathan LaFayette. Scoring for the Kings in the second period were Rob Cowie, Gretzky and Kevin Todd.
