HEARTFELT

How sad that Scot historian Allan Massie entirely missed the point of the film “Braveheart” by citing historical inaccuracies to criticize the film (Film Clips, Sept. 24). “Braveheart” tells of much more important lessons than what year Isabella, Princess of Wales came to Scotland--”Braveheart” is about freedom, integrity and honor.
According to Massie, “Bad history is potentially dangerous.” I’d say that bad priorities and limited focus--especially from one who assumes the responsibility of informing future generations--is definitely dangerous.
