Countywide : Volunteers to Beautify Stretch of Creek Trail
- Share via
Volunteers will put in plants and make other improvements today to a bike trail that parallels Santiago Creek in Orange.
The event is sponsored by the Santiago Creek Greenway Alliance, which is working to build a 12-mile trail from Irvine Regional Park in the Orange foothills to the MainPlace mall in Santa Ana.
Volunteers will work on a half-mile stretch of the path which, when completed, will allow bicyclists, walkers and joggers to go from Hart Park in Orange to Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Santa Ana, organizer Howard DeCruyenaere said.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hart Park. For more information, call: (714) 997-4446.
