ANAHEIM : Health Fair Offers Medical Screenings

Free medical screenings for adults and children will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at a community health fair in La Palma Park.
Trained personnel will be on hand to test for vision problems, tuberculosis, breast cancer, skin cancer, pulmonary function disorders and nutritional deficiencies.
The fair also will feature live music, children’s activities, refreshments, prizes and information booths operated by the Anaheim Police and Fire departments, the Anaheim Family YMCA, the Disney GOALS program for underprivileged youths and other community groups.
Hosting the fair are Anaheim Memorial Hospital and Gateway Medical Group.
La Palma Park is at Harbor Boulevard and La Palma Avenue.
