Denim & Diamonds Closes Its Huntington Beach Bar

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Denim & Diamonds country bar and dance hall, the chain’s only remaining Southern California venue, closed Sunday. Managing partner Greg Stewart attributed the closure of the Huntington Beach outlet to declining interest in country music, as well as competition from other Orange County clubs featuring country music.
The Huntington Beach venue is scheduled to reopen at the end of the month with an eclectic format featuring live disco, jazz and reggae music, Stewart said. It will be open Wednesday through Sunday nights, Stewart said.
Outlets in Santa Monica and Woodland Hills had closed previously. One outlet in Northern California and another in New York City remain open.
