What’s a 10-year-old going to do with his own fishing boat, motor and trailer?
First, find somebody to tow it for him.
Jeffrey Schumacher of Orange wound up with that happy problem when he won the Super Fish Fishermen’s Club final fish-off of the year at Irvine Lake. He used Power Bait and nightcrawlers to catch a 7 1/2-pound rainbow trout.
The best his adult rivals could do were a 7.3 by Francisco Carrillo and 7.1s by Steve Walker and Herb Lloyd.
