Narbonne qualified for the football playoffs for the first time since 1980. . . . Los Alamitos has outscored opponents, 128-13, in three games since its lone loss of the season, to Esperanza. . . . Mayfair’s 21-14 victory over Bellflower was its first over the Buccaneers in seven years and clinched the Monsoons’ first playoff spot in 14 years. . . . Dominguez had to forfeit six victories because of an ineligible player, making its record 3-7 overall and 2-3 in the San Gabriel Valley League. . . . Robyn Lewis had 14 kills and 15 assists in Poly’s 15-6, 15-3, 15-2 girls’ volleyball victory over Villa Park. . . . Dorae Lewis ran for 162 yards in 14 carries during Downey’s league title-clinching 42-14 victory over Gahr. . . . Morris Smith of Long Beach Poly completed only seven passes against Compton, but those seven went for 188 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-0 victory, giving the Jackrabbits their first undefeated regular season since 1959. . . . Long Beach Wilson had six fumbles and 13 penalties, but still managed to defeat Millikan, 27-7. Millikan did not score until the final play of the game. . . . Mike Conley set the St. Anthony career record for tackles with 257, breaking the record of 250 set by Dan Mais from 1987 to 1989.
