Boys & Girls Club to Open New Site

The Fillmore-Piru Boys & Girls Club will open a new club today at the Piru Community Center.
The club will feature arts and crafts, social programs, sports and help with homework for children ages 7 through 12. Youths joining the club in December will get one month’s free use. Dues for the club are $12 annually.
The Fillmore-Piru Boys & Girls Club, a part of the Santa Paula organization, already has programs at 620 Shiells Drive and the Lemon Way sheriff’s substation in Fillmore. The Piru Community Center is at 802 N. Orchard St.
