Valleywide : Zoning Panel to Hear Applications

City zoning officials will hold public hearings on a number of applications for city permits and zoning variances in the next few weeks, including two proposed cellular phone antennas and a liquor permit.
The hearings will be held at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave., Sherman Oaks, or at 201 N. Figueroa St., Room 170, downtown Los Angeles.
The applications include requests for:
* A conditional-use permit to build a cellular phone antenna atop a building at Ventura Boulevard and Lubao Avenue in Woodland Hills. The antenna would extend 15 feet above the area’s 45-foot height limit for buildings. The hearing will be held in Sherman Oaks at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 19.
* A conditional-use permit to build a cellular phone antenna atop an office building on Sherman Way east of Haskell Avenue in Van Nuys. The antenna would be about 24 feet taller than the area’s 45-foot height limit for buildings. The hearing will be held in Sherman Oaks at 9 a.m. Jan. 19.
* A zoning variance for a gas station at 11870 Roscoe Blvd. in Sun Valley to sell alcoholic beverages at a food market begin proposed. The Board of Zoning Appeals hearing will be held in downtown Los Angeles at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23.
