SEASON AT A GLANCE: A 6-foot-3 center, Whisler is averaging 22.4 points and 13 rebounds--both team highs--despite suffering a sprained knee a month ago. An accomplished post player, she has added an outside jump shot to her repertoire. Whisler is being recruited by the University of San Francisco, UC Irvine and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Whisler had 20 points, 12 rebounds and nine blocked shots to help Paraclete upset previously undefeated Mojave, 51-42, and avenge an earlier loss to the Mustangs. Paraclete (15-5) and Mojave (20-1) started the week tied for first place in the High Desert League with 7-1 records. In two games last week, Whisler had 44 points, 29 rebounds and 16 blocked shots.
