In other conference men’s games:
Saddleback 107, Cypress 101--Anthony Carter scored 33 points before fouling out for host Saddleback (23-4, 11-1), which was coming off a 76-72 loss Wednesday to OCC. David Neal, who made a game-winning shot Wednesday against Golden West, had 25 points for Cypress (13-16, 5-7).
Riverside 82, Golden West 69--Ray Jimmerson scored 26 for visiting Golden West (13-19, 3-9) and Gary Williams had 30 for Riverside (27-6, 10-2), which remained one game behind Saddleback with two left. The teams play Feb. 16 at Saddleback in final conference game.
Rancho Santiago 103, Fullerton 64--Chris Rose had 23 for host Rancho Santiago (19-10, 7-5).
In women’s games:
Saddleback 71, Cypress 55--Shanna Renken had 12 points for host Saddleback (25-0, 12-0), which outscored Cypress, 43-27, in the second half.
Riverside 71, Golden West 68--Alicia Rubio scored 33 points for Riverside (23-8, 9-4). Leila Ryan had 17 points and eight assists for Golden West (17-13, 7-5).
Irvine Valley 67, Orange Coast 60--The score was tied, 54-54, with 4:24 left, but Irvine Valley went ahead, 58-54, and two free throws each from Juliana Castro and Jennifer Nakanishi in the next minute.
Cypress baseball tournament:
Cypress 14, Antelope Valley 3--Keith Ginter and Craig Kuzmic each hit home runs in Cypress’ second victory of the day. Kuzmic hit a two-run shot in the fourth and added a triple.
Golden West 4, Canada 1--Golden West (2-3) picked up two runs in the second, as Mike Tyler scored on a pop out, and John Matlock scored on a single by Charlie Tuggle. John Pangelinan picked up the final run for Golden West on a home run in the third.
Saddleback 10, Canada 9--Ace Bedich drove in the winning run with a single bottom of the eighth inning of a Cypress tournament game at Saddleback College.
