Works of Don Riscol on Display at Library

An exhibit featuring the works of Don Riscol will open Oct. 1 at Central Library’s Arts Associates Gallery.
The reception for the local artist will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and is free and open to the public.
Riscol, a longtime resident, is known for his large and colorful paintings featuring places around the world. Churches and temples representing different religious faiths and nations will be included in the 20-painting collection.
The gallery, 7111 Talbert Ave., is open from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The one-artist exhibit will continue through Oct. 31.
