Municipal Workers to Get Retroactive Pay
Most of the city’s employees will receive retroactive 2% pay raises under new three-year contracts that won City Council approval this week.
The 2% raises for each of the first two years of the pact will go to 388 employees, including secretaries, executive assistants, the accounting manager, clerks, assistant planners, engineers, inspectors, police dispatchers, tree trimmers, librarians, maintenance workers and supervisors, and the airport manager.
Most of the employees belong to one of two unions: the Fullerton Management Assn. and the Fullerton Municipal Employees Federation.
The pay increases are retroactive to June 29.
Police officers and firefighters are still negotiating new contracts with city officials.
