Volunteer Program Seeks Homes to Paint
Applications are being accepted for Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim, a program that helps low-income elderly and disabled homeowners refurbish.
Since 1990, 233 homes have been painted and had minor repairs done. Homes are prepared for painting in April, and 40 houses will get a fresh coat of paint on the first Saturday in May.
Materials and supplies are donated, and volunteers contribute the labor.
Anaheim homeowners who want to take part in the program may call (714) 974-9481 for information and applications, which will be accepted through December.
